Hey cuties!

How have you been? I’ve been so busy, my schedule has been so hectic lately. It definitely feels that Spring has arrived. FINALLY!

I always start my outfit posts with commenting the weather, haha. Then again it is one the biggest factors when I choose what to wear. Through Instagram I seem to go for smart casual mostly but in real life when I’m working and running daily errands my go-to outfit looks exactly like on these pictures here – jeans, tshirt or a hoodie, puffer or a bomber jacket paired with cute sneakers and sunnies.

These awesome pieces are from Tommy Jeans. If you’ve never visited that store, I suggest you to do that ASAP! Tommy Hilfiger store has this rather classy vibe to it, you can find both casual and smart casual outfits. But Tommy Jeans is all about that 90s street vibe – high-waisted destroyed jeans, big logos, patches, sneakers with chunky soles, awesome caps etc. Love it! Keep scrolling to see more pictures!

Also, I’m So excited about the upcoming months! There’s going to be a lot of travelling which means a lot of new content! Yay! Next week we are heading to Dubai. I really-really need some sun. Last week I was using the lightest shade of foundation that I own and it’s white as snow.

In May I’ll be going to Milan + Lake Como with my mom and my sister, whoop-whoop! Can’t wait!

June is going to be so awesome! I’m working on a little secret project that I can share with you guys next month. Also in June it is time to pack those bags again and go to Ibiza! This is the place where T and I got engaged, so it is the perfect destination to celebrate our 4-year anniversary.

One of T’s friends is celebrating his birthday in July. So we are all going to Croatia! It is going to be my first time there, so if you’ve been there (Split & Hvar), I would really appreciate all the eating + shopping + what to see- types of recommendations! Thank you in advance!

Review: HEMPSON Skincare

It’s been a loooong time since my last review. Meanwhile, I’ve tried so many different products but not every skincare line makes me want to write a review.

HEMPSON Cosmetics (HERE) is a new Estonian brand creating organic skin- and hair care products using cannabidiol extracted from the blossoms and leaves of organically grown industrial hemp. The scent of these products reminds me of a strong herb tea.

Disclaimer: there is absolutely no risk of psychoactive reaction from using these products.

Also, I’m happy to say that all of these products are vegan and have never been tested on animals!

So, I’ve been using them for about 2 months now and I think it’s decent amount of time to realize how they actually work. I’m not gonna lie – some of them didn’t really work for me but then again some of them were the only products that helped my skin through those days when it was -15 outside.

To make this review more interesting – I asked my mom to try them out aswell. Because of the age difference and totally opposite skin/hair types, I think it will be more informative that way.

Me: combination skin with surface dryness. Long & quite thick hair. Age 25+

My mom: very-very dry & sensitive skin. Short & thin hair. Age 45+

HEMPSON Anti-Aging Serum (HERE) – They say that face serums are lightweight moisturizers that penetrate deeper to deliver active ingredients into your skin. To be honest, I rarely feel/see the difference when I use serums, so I don’t know if it is the most important step… I guess if you want to go that extra mile for your skin then ofcourse. This particular one has hyaluronic acid as one of the ingredients – so I believe that it has to have some good benefits that are just not visible instantly!

HEMPSON Face Cream for dry skin (HERE) – My favorite product from this brand! I didn’t have high expectations for this one but it turned out to be amazing! It has very thick and buttery consistency. When applied, it absorbs quickly to the skin and creates the smoothest canvas. I think it also works great as a moisturizing + pore filling primer. I think it’s because glycerin is one of the ingredients. My mom was also obsessed with it! Her eyes are very sensitive and there are only a few moisturizers that she can use close to her eye area. This was one of them! It didn’t make her eyes water and in general moisturized her dry skin very well! 10/10

HEMPSON Anti-Aging Eye Cream (HERE) – It’s their bestseller! Very soothing, calming and moisturizing. It felt very good under my eyes which can also be a bit sensitive to some of the eye creams. Before applying concealer under the eyes, it is so important to use eye cream first. Trust me, your concealer looks so much better on moisturized skin! This one also has hyaluronic acid as one of the ingredients!

HEMPSON Soothing Mask (HERE) – Especially it helped my skin during the cold weeks. I had dry patches, texture and overall my skin was flaky. It was impossible to apply foundation or concealer. So, I exfoliated my face, used this mask, serum, face cream, eye cream and let it all sink in for about 30 min. All this made my skin look healthy & hydrated!

HEMPSON Body Cream (HERE) – It says on the bottle that it’s nourishing and it doesn’t lie at all. Thick and hydrating consistency, very similar to the face cream. After applying, it soaks in quickly and doesn’t leave your skin greasy. Definitely worth buying!

HEMPSON Shampoo (HERE) & Conditioner (HERE) – These two just didn’t work for me at all. I tried them several times. I did like the gel-like consistency of the shampoo and the minty scent. It’s just that my colour-treated and extra dry hair needs more. However, for my mom they worked well! She said that after washing, her hair wasn’t tangled at all like it usually is. Also during these cold weeks her hair had been very static previously but this conditioner totally worked its magic!

3 CELEBRITY INSPIRED LOOKS

As you can read it from the title I decided to recreate 3 celebrity inspired outfits. Usually the focus is on creating celebrity looks with much more affordable pieces. But I decided to go in another direction and challenge myself a bit: I created 3 celebrity inspired looks incorporating pieces from Estonian brand IRIS JANVIER.

LOOK NO.1

First look is inspired by Kourtney Kardashian. One of the It-pieces of this winter has definitely been an aviator jacket. It is such a stylish throw on to give your look that edgy vibe.

LOOK NO.2

The second one is inspired by the most-searched actress and future member of The British Royal Family – Meghan Markle. She has already made a name for herself as a royal style icon. As you can see she is wearing a wool camel coat which is such a classical piece and a must-have in every fashionista’s wardrobe!

This outfit is again stolen from Kourtney Kardashian. Leather (vinyl) pants have been such a big thing for the past year or so. I love pairing them with big chunky knits. Different textures definitely make the look stand out!

SPRING READY WITH TOMMY HILFIGER

Hopefully soon we can pack away our furs & boots and get ready to embrace the upcoming Spring! Even though it looks like mid-winter outside right now, I already started shopping for the next season!

Here’s my first Spring look! From head to toe – Tommy Hilfiger. I wanted to create a chic yet comfy outfit that’s very versatile. I could wear this for meetings, events, lunch dates, city strolls etc. Because of the block heel, these booties are perfect for that!

I’m obsessed with the colour scheme of this outfit – blue, white, stripes, black with a hint of gold! Perfect match!

The star of the outfit is definitely this gorgeous Tommy Hilfiger duster coat. You can wear it with pumps, sneakers, boots & sandals. It is such a good wardrobe basic!

LAZY GIRL’S HAIRDO

Remember like 8 years ago when it was all about the donut bun? It was the easiest hairdo that looked chic and put together with minimum effort.

Nowadays I rather go for messy boho style hairdos just because I like the volume and I feel like they frame my face in a much more flattering way. So I decided to share with you my favorite Pull-Through Braid that I discovered thanks to my babe Johanna. It is the perfect hairdo if…

1) you’re running late

2) you don’t have time to wash your hair

3) you just don’t know how to style your hair.

HAIR PREP:

I started off with freshly showered damp hair just because it looks much more presentable that way here on my blog. However clean hair is really difficult to work with so you want to add something that makes it feel less silky and slippery. For that texture & extra volume I applied some Cutrin MUOTO Root Lifting Spray Mousse just to my roots and Cutrin MUOTO Strong Volumizing Mousse to rest of my hair. Then I blow-dried.

… AND HERE’S THE TUTORIAL:

1. Hair prep done.
2. Curl your hair. Nothing fancy. Just messy curls. This step is actually not that necessary but I decided to go through with it anyways just because I think it gives any hairdo a better shape & form.
3. Create a high ponytail from your top layer.
4. Create a second ponytail under the first one.
5. Divide your first pony into two pieces.
6. Wrap them around your second pony and secure with an elastic.
7. Create a third ponytail under the second one. This time incorporate the ends from the first pony. Repeat the wrapping.
8. Repeat that until you have desired length.
9. The most important step: gently tug on both sides of the braid to make it fuller and more voluminous. Don’t worry about keeping it neat. I personally like it to look a bit messy. Finish off with Cutrin MUOTO Strong Instant Hairspray and voila! You’re done!
