I love the look of clean and beautifully manicured hands. But waiting for your nail polish to dry is as bad as waiting for food in a restaurant – frustrating & frustrating. At least for me. And that’s the reason I hate doing my nails. Correction: *used to hate.
Yes, I could go and get them done professionally but I don’t want to. Women. Go figure, haha. No, actually I used to get them done for like 6 years in a row. But I hated the fact that I couldn’t get them fixed immidiately when something happened in-between the appointments.
But I found a solution for homemade mani-pedi, yay! Last year when I was in LA, we went to this crazy huge Target and then it happened – I finally found Seche Vite Dry Fast top coat. It’s one of those products that Pinterest made me buy. Within minutes you can already touch your nails and see how well it works. I tried so many similar products in the past and none of them did what they had to. This is how it’s described to work:
“Its patented formula allows it to penetrate through the nail lacquer to the base coat forming a single solid coating over the nail plate. Apply thickly, get a nice bead on the end of the brush, then set softly down on the first nail painted and watch how Seche Vite flows over the wet nail polish without dragging or streaking.”
Recently I ran out of my first bottle and I’ve already purchased a new one. I ordered it from amazon (HERE).
I also wanted to mention L’oreal Nail Lacquers just because they were such a pleasant surprise. I usually go for Zoya, Ciate or OPI but these are as good if not even better! I’m impressed! You can basically get away with one layer because they are so pigmented. I also love that they have wide brushes – it makes the application process so much easier. My manicure routine usually goes like this: base coat, 2 coats of nail polish, Seche Vite top coat. With this formula my manicure lasts for 5-6 days.
I hope it helped someone who struggles with the same issue!
Talk to you soon!
